Dans le cadre du projet « Etat des lieux du cadre législatif des industries culturelles et créatives (ICC) », la Commission de l’océan Indien (COI) et le Marché commun de l’Afrique orientale et australe (COMESA) ont mené une étude sur les politiques publiques régissant les ICC dans 10 pays (Burundi, Djibouti, Erythrée, Éthiopie, Kenya, Madagascar, Maurice, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalie, Soudan, Ouganda et Union des Comores).Cette étude a permis d’identifier les actions à entreprendre afin de renforcer les ICC pour qu’elles puissent contribuer au développement économique des pays, en favorisant l’environnement des affaires et les échanges des biens et services culturels et artistiques.Cette action est financée par Heva Funds dans le cadre du programme ACP-EU Culture (Eastern Africa) Ignite Culture.

As part of the ‘Assessment of the legislative framework for cultural and creative industries (CCI)’ project, the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) have carried out a study of public policies governing CCIs in 10 countries (Burundi, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan, Uganda and the Union of the Comoros). The study identified actions to be taken to strengthen CCIs so that they can contribute to the economic development of the countries concerned, by promoting the business environment and exchanges of cultural and artistic goods and services. This action is financed by Heva Funds as part of the ACP-EU Culture (Eastern Africa) Ignite Culture programme.
