Mombasa – Kenya, 3 octobre 2025 – La Commission de l’océan Indien (COI), à travers son projet « Résilience des populations et des écosystèmes du Sud-Ouest de l’océan Indien » (RECOS), a participé au 13è symposium scientifique de l’Association des sciences marines de l’océan Indien occidental (WIOMSA) du 28 septembre au 3 octobre 2025. La participation du projet RECOS renforce l’engagement de la COI à améliorer les connaissances scientifiques et à appuyer les acteurs locaux et régionaux dans la gestion durable des écosystèmes marins et côtiers de l’océan Indien occidental.

Mombasa – Kenya, October 3rd, 2025 – The Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), through its project « Resilience of Populations and Ecosystems in the South-West Indian Ocean » (RECOS), participated in the 13th Scientific Symposium of the Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association (WIOMSA) from September 28 to October 3, 2025. The RECOS project’s participation reinforces the IOC’s commitment to improving scientific knowledge and supporting local and regional stakeholders in the sustainable management of the Western Indian Ocean.
